Raw Week!

I had a great deal of ideas when it came to this week.  Having just watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead (if you haven't seen it, watch it on Hulu!) I had dreams of starting a week-long juice fast!  Or green smoothie fast!  Knowing myself, and my history with these radical decisions, I decided buying $200+ worth of fresh fruits and veggies that could go bad in 1 week to be a not so good idea.

Instead, I decided to drink green smoothies for breakfast, make two raw meals, and two raw snacks.

 The snacks were Onion Flax Crackers
 And Beet Chips.  Both used the dehydrator and were a nice snack at work.

For the 2 dinners, these came from my recently aquired book Ani's Raw Food Essentials: Recipes and Techniques for Mastering the Art of Live Food.
 Mushroom Wild Rice with Rosemary & Indian Spiced Chutney
 Garlic Margherita Pizza
 This was quite good!

I had green smoothies 4 of the 5 mornings which I consider a success  :)  I even got a few people around here to have a glass  ;)
