Oh hey, hi, yeah, it has been a bit hasn't it?
Ah well, summer was calling my name a bit. In recent news, it is gorgeous outside, we have been working hard on the house: tore out the ugly blue bathroom, and did some landscaping.
Don't fear though, I have still been cooking :) Here is the looooong summary of what we have eaten in the last month.
First, lets start out with something impressive. It is a bread with only 5 ingredients and no flour. Check out the Sprouted Wheat Bread. You start by soaking the wheatberries and then sprouting them. From there, you food process them along with the honey, water, yeast and salt. It make a pretty dense bread, but it made us feel super healthy! It also takes about 3 days to make... :)
I made this Mushroom Pasta but it was so bland, I didn't even take a photo. Disappointing!

Ultimate Roasted Veggie Sandwich
This sandwich was in preparation for having my SWE peeps over the next weekend. Veggies on the grill are awesome! Just need a good sauce to go with them, like hummus :)Mini Vanilla Pound Cake with...
Strawberry Shortcake and Ice Cream!!!!
I would not really recommend this pound cake...would rather just use some butter and eggs than almost half cup of olive oil that this called for.
Rainbow Chard and Peas in Creamy Gravy
This dish was AWESOME! So spicy and creamy at the same time - yay for Indian food! Went on the keepers list!I made this Mushroom Pasta but it was so bland, I didn't even take a photo. Disappointing!
Sweet Potato Lasagna
This one was yummy, but mostly because I used real cheese ;)Tomato Garlic Mozzarella Pizza
It was good because I used real cheese, but not so good because I used 100% spelt flour for the crust. Half spelt, half white or whole wheat probably would have been a better idea.
