Let me start out by saying, that I very much enjoy making cakes. This cake was no exception. It did take 2 days work. I made the cake one day and finished up the frosting, filling and assembly on day 2. The only change that I would make next time is to try to incorporate some of this awsome fresh rhubarb in the recipe. Possibly make a rhubarb compote and use that instead of the strawberry preserves.
